Wallpaper* lets you play Art Director with its DIY Covers

One of thousands of 'Handmade' Wallpaper* August 2010 covers

The uber cool monthly magazine, Wallpaper*, published by IPC in London, have just posted thousands of its August “Handmade” covers out to readers. By registering online before the beginning of June, you could buy an issue and ‘self-create’ your own cover for the mag. With design help from creative types James Joyce, Nigel Robinson, Hort, Anthony Burrill and Kam Tang, who supplied images, graphics and patterns; you can scale, rotate, colour and assemble your own cover.  This is a clever and inventive step for the magazine that normally commissions the likes of Philippe Stark, Karl Lagerfeld and Anish Kapoor to design its covers.
