Kanye West must be feeling pretty darn good right about now! In the past couple of years he has welcome his baby daughter (North West) into the world, married the girl of his dreams and has a new album and a potential clothing line on the way. The GQ August edition covers Kanye, the 21st century version of God…or so Kanye likes to think.
Post the ‘Yeezus’ release, Kanye West is a happier person. Dealing with what it means to be a loving husband and better person. I mean who could forget the prodigious preachings of Kanye West throughout the whole Yeezus album?! He is much more grounded these days, “You see I haven’t name-dropped and said a bunch of negative stuff about people”.
Although he may be more grounded, a lot of news and entertainment outlets still make him out to be a bit of a diva “Kanye returned one hour before the wedding and didn’t like the all-white bar that was in front of the Gold Toilet Tower. He took a saw and started sawing it in half himself. Two men held the bar stable as he sawed, and saom Texas. Twed, into the bar, defacing the entire front, screaming at everyone around him. He said it looked like a bar frhen he ordered two pieces of raw wood to be nailed onto the front of the bar. Once the wood was in place, ‘Now,’ he said, ‘it’s art.’ The Italian construction teams looked at this guy and couldn’t believe what they were seeing.”
His Yeezus tour recently reached Australian shores, with Sydney shows scheduled for this Friday and Saturday night. Hopefully his sold out shows live up to what Kanye West is all about, with “I am a God” being a debut track on his recent album.
