Chiropractors rejoice – the September issues are out – and heavier than ever!

Well it is that time of year again! The long-awaited September issues from the hottest Australian Fashion mags have hit news stands and letterboxes across the country – and despite that 3 letter nasty (HINT: sounds like KFC) – the mags are still layered with luscious photo shoots and plenty of advertisements from the world’s top fashion houses!

Harper’s BAZAAR packs a punch with over 280 pages. Ex Grazia editor Kellie Hush is now at the helm after former Harper’s editor Edwina McCann was poached to head up Vogue Australia after reigning style Queen Kirstie Clements was given the flick 2 months ago. The striking cover features model of the moment, Constance Jablonski in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton (who also happens to have booked the inside gate-fold advertisement – coincidence?)
At 258 pages marie claire is the smallest, but what it lacks in size it makes up for it in star power with Hollywood ‘IT’ girl Blake Lively on the cover. Lively has timed the cover appearance perfectly - her new film ‘Savages’ is out in cinemas now and she’s keen to let the world know that there is more to her than Gossip Girl (and her hot new boyfriend Ryan Reynolds).
Vogue Australia however takes first prize on the scales. At 320 pages, it is the heaviest of the three, and I believe the prettiest, with Aussie actress Bella Heathcote gracing the subscriber cover in Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. Rising star Bella was recently lucky enough to have played opposite Johnny Depp (as his love interest) in Tim Burtons ‘Dark Shadows’. Keep your eye on this girl – definitely one to watch in the future!
So whichever mag you choose to take home this month – book a chiropractic appointment first – these style bibles are heavy to carry around!
